Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4, w Japonii zwane jako GTO, to bez wątpienia jeden z najbardziej imponujących samochodów sportowych całej dekady lat 90. Napęd na cztery koła i trzylitrowa jednostka z dwiema turbosprężarkami już wyjściowo oferowała 286 KM, ale dla wielu użytkowników była dopiero punktem wyjścia. Tak też było w przypadku tego egzemplarza, którego przebudową zajął się według informacji podanej przez sprzedającego renomowany warsztat Koraszewski Auto Sport. Warsztat słynący z budowy słynnych B-grupowych Audi Quattro S1 i tu pokazał, jak należy budować maszynę zdolną do osiągania fantastycznych osiągów.

W ślad za zwiększeniem mocy silnika poszła również modyfikacja zawieszenia, a duże, 20-calowe felgi zastosowano są tu też nie od parady, skrywając znacznie większy i bardziej wydajny układ hamulcowy. Puryści oczywiście mogą narzekać na fakt, że w nadwoziu pierwszej serii zastosowano przód z serii trzeciej, ale tu nie o zgodność z fabryką chodziło, a o przydatną redukcję masy i uproszczenie tego, co nie jest przydatne do możliwie szybkiej jazdy.

W tym przypadku określenie „japońskie Ferrari” z pewnością nie będzie na wyrost.
