Rolls Royce to synonim luksusu, firma z blisko 120-letnią tradycją, słynąca z najwyższej jakości materiałów i wykonanania. Rolls-Royce 25/30 powstawał w latach 1936-38, wyposażony został w 6-cylindrowy, górnozaworowy silnik o pojemności zwiększonej do 4,3 l względem poprzednika (20/25) oraz czterobiegową skrzynię z synchronizacją na dwóch wyższych przełożeniach.

Podwozie wyposażono w sztywne osie zawieszone na półeliptycznych sprężynach z hydraulicznymi amortyzatorami, a hamowanie odbywa się na wszystkich czterech kołach i jest wspomagane przez mechanizm serwo.

Charakterystycznym elementem jest ogromna atrapa chłodnicy z pionowymi żaluzjami, a kształt reszty nadwozia zależał od firmy karosującej, która tworzyła nadwozie. W tym wypadku był to Hooper & Co z Londynu, firma której korzenie sięgają początku XIX wieku i którą powszechnie nazywano „The King of Coachbuilders”. Nadwozie to „sport saloon”, czyli według ówczesnej nomenklatury – przewidziane do prowadzenia bez szofera, nie wyposażone w ścianę oddzielającą przestrzeń pasażerską od miejsca kierowcy.

RR do Polski przyjechał już w 2000 roku i od tego czasu spędził wiele lat w jednej z piękniejszych kolekcji w Polsce. W między czasie oczywiście został kompleksowo, skrupulatnie odrestaurowany.

RR wyróżnia przede wszystkim karoseria, która całkowicie została wykonana z aluminium, co w połączeniu z 6 cylindrowym, rzędowym silnikiem generującym 115 koni mechanicznych pozwala rozpędzić tą wspaniała maszynę do 130 km na godzinę, a to już całkiem sporo. Według ogólnie dostępnych informacji 25/30 wyprodukowano w 1201 sztukach, co łatwo pozwala nam oszacować, że aut tego modelu w tak dobrym stanie pozostało niewiele.

Rolls-Royce posiada wspaniała dokumentację, w skład której wchodzą oryginalny dowód rejestracyjny, czy umowa na zamówienie oraz faktura, do tego ogrom zdjęć z różnych etapów życia tego staruszka. W pełni sprawny i jeżdżący arystokrata z Goodwood czeka na kolejną przejażdżkę z „Emily”, zwanej inaczej „Spirit of Ecstasy”, na czele.
