Triumph TR6 produkowany był do roku 1976, a zgrabne linie nadwozia przejął po poprzednikach – TR4 i TR5, których stylistą był wybitny Włoch – Giovanni Michelotti. Wśród wszystkich filigranowych brytyjskich roadsterów wyróżnia go najpotężniejszy silnik – 2,5-litrowe R6.

Prezentowany egzemplarz pod maską skrywa zasilaną gaźnikiem jednostkę legitymującą się mocą 105 koni mechanicznych i naszym zdaniem, ta właśnie jednostka daje mu ten niepodrabialny klimat aut z lat 60, natomiast ze znacznie większymi możliwościami zaczerpniętymi wprost z lat 70!

TR6 do Polski przyjechał już ponad 20 lat temu, sprowadzony ze Stanów Zjednoczonych, gdzie od zawsze Brytyjskie roadstery były niezwykle uwielbiane (posiada dokumenty rejestracyjne z roku 2000). Triumph rzecz jasna przeszedł kompleksową renowację trwającą 4 lata, dzięki której ponownie mamy do czynienia z praktycznie nowym TR6.

Od momentu zakupu uznaliśmy że chcemy doprowadzić ten wóz do mechanicznej perfekcji, aby nie tylko wyglądał świetnie ale przede wszystkim by nowy właściciel mógł w pełni korzystać z jego możliwości. I tak się zaczęło a końca nie było widać, ale było warto bo dziś możemy mówić o egzemplarzu absolutnie bez wkładu, gotowym do sezonu! Pełen remont silnika wykonany w firmie renomowanej w całej Europie firmie CECARS, uwzględniający szlifowanie cylindrów, planowanie głowicy, obróbka gniazd zaworowych i prowadnic, polerowanie zaworów, nowe laski popychaczy, nowe świece i wiele innych drobnych spraw. Do tego wymiana sprzęgła oraz uszczelnienie skrzyni biegów, regeneracja hamulców oraz hamulca ręcznego. Naprawa zawieszenia, wymiana zbiornika i węży paliwowych czy regeneracja gaźników to już drobne finalne elementy, które także zostały wykonane.

Nasze TR6 posiada pełną dokumentację, włącznie z fakturą zakupu oraz fakturami napraw, zdjęcia z każdego etapu jak i filmy, które prezentują progres prac. Idealne nieszablonowe auto dla każdego kto poszukuje czegoś wyjątkowego.
